OOTN – Contrasting with Leather and Love

Hey all!

My my it’s been some time since my last post!! The workload and 5am clinical days have been the bane of my existence somedays, but apart from that, I am truly enjoying my program. In fact – GOOD NEWS! I’ve taken another step towards my nursing dream, I have been accepting into George Brown’s PSW Pathway to Nursing course!! It’s to start in September and is only a semester long but basically the courses are to get me ready for the chemistry, biology and anatomy that I’ll be studying for in my nursing career. And here’s the awesome catch: by the end of the semester, if I have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, I will be offered a spot into the RPN program!! I’m exactly where I want to be and it’s all working out very well! When I found out I had been accepted into the Pathway course, I played Birthday by Katy Perry for a good hour as celebration lol!

It has been sometime since I’ve posted an outfit and last night I went out with my man, Mike, to one of our fave bars for some hockey watching and beer drinking (Cause that’s what we Canadians do best!). My outfit was a little bit kickass, a little bit angelic! Confused? Lemme show you:

I really felt like dressing up last night cause a) These were new purchases so I had to test drive them and b) I wanted to look pretty just because! The jacket is so awesome and comfortable! And also the cool thing about this jacket is that it can come in baby pink! Now really think about it, when was the last time you saw a baby pink faux leather jacket? I was considering getting the pink jacket but instead opted for the black and got a coral 3/4 sleeve open blazer so that I could still get my pink dose. What are you Saturday Night Out go-to’s ladies?? I’d love to hear!
